rt3070 is supported in compat-wireless 2.6.35_rc1, and the N3 devices are being highly praised for their insanely good receive sensitivity. They are supported by the rt2800usb driver.
Patches and hardware are still welcomed. The Pentoo and Aircrack-ng team like the Rokland N3... *hint*

I'm using an ALFA AWUS036NH which uses the RT3070 chipset. FCC ID: UQ2036NH And of course it uses the same drivers as the following chipsets RT2870/RT2770/RT537X. Under Mac OS X 10.7 it installs the driver as RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext. Here is the link to the drivers. http://www.ralinktech.com/en/04_support/license.php?sn=5004
Product ID: 0x3070 Vendor ID: 0x148f Version: 1.01 Serial Number: 1.0 Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Ralink Location ID: 0xfd130000 / 5 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): 450

That device has an rt3070 chipset, which barely has usable rfmon support under linux as of this moment. Patches are always welcomed, as well as hardware to facilitate testing.
